Q: How can I make a donation?

A: Come in and make a cash donation in our donation box or if you’d rather donate directly to the FERN account please let a board member know and they can direct you to the Treasurer who can provide you with these details.


Q: How are donation proceeds distributed?

A: 100% of all donations will be spent on FERN’s upkeep and ongoing running costs unless otherwise stated.


Q: Can I write any donations off on my taxes?

A: You can only make tax deductible gifts or donations to organisations that have the status of deductible gift recipients (DGRs). At this moment FERN is not a deductible gift recipient, so you cannot claim any donations to FERN as a tax write off.


Q: Can I organise my own event at FERN?

A: FERN provides a platform for community events. If you have plans for an event at FERN, please contact us via the email link on the website and attach a proposal for the FERN board to consider or contact Renee Mckie on 0425 899 942.



Q: How can I volunteer for FERN?

A: There are plenty of ways to get involved at FERN. You can volunteer on Dinner by Donation Nights on Mon or Wed or come down for the weekly gardening bee on Tuesday morning.
