Join Tony From Life Aquatics to transform Ferns Pond into a Aquaponic system

One Full Day - Aquaponics

The workshop will cover all of the information you need to successfully set-up, and maintain an Aquaponics system at home, and includes History, current methods, and how it all works. Types of systems – NFT, Flood & Drain, and Deep-water raft, how they work, and their benefits/disadvantages. Choosing suitable fish for your system, as well as their health needs, and upkeep. Choosing suitable plants, as well as their specific needs in AP. Water testing and balancing A visit to a working Aquaponics system in the community. Building a recycled IBC system, from materials you can find at a local hardware store. Also covering practical system design, and identification of ‘fail’ points. This is a great one day course for anyone who has an interest in Aquaponics, especially setting up their own.
